We do apologize! There is a technical error with the live stream! This video will be going up as soon as the event concludes. In the meantime, we have turned on the landing page. Please read through this carefully. There's information on how to type your address inside Bus Planner, select the 2024-2025 school year, and see if you're potentially impacted. Additionally, please be sure to check PowerSchool to make sure your proper address is inside of PowerSchool.

Good evening, Wahoos!!
I hope you have had a wonderful week. Please remember that on April 17, we have early dismissal, which we will release at 1:00 p.m., and early check-out will end at 12:30 p.m. Our Spring Carnival, a highlight of our school year, is on April 19 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. It's a fantastic opportunity to enjoy games, face painting, food trucks, and more—your child's progress report will go home on April 22.
Please save the following dates: We will host our Field Day on May 3, Kindergarten and second grade awards day on May 15, and first grade and dual immersion awards day on May 16; more information will be forthcoming. The mClass end-of-year benchmark will open on May 7 and close on May 15. The fourth nine-week grading period ends on May 30, and the school will send report cards out on June 6. As you can see, we only have a short time until the 23-24 school year ends, and we still have a lot to cover; that said, please prioritize getting your child to school on time and refrain from checking them out early if possible. Students miss valuable instructions when they are consistently late or leave early. Thank you for being a partner in your child's education. Have a fantastic evening.

Good evening, Wahoos!!
Welcome back from spring break, Wahoos! I hope you had a fantastic, fun, relaxed, and unforgettable time. Now that we're back let's dive back into our routines with renewed energy and enthusiasm. Let's carry the warmth of the sun, the laughter of our adventures, and the memories we've made into the rest of the semester. Here's to a successful return and making the most of what lies ahead! I have a few reminders and dates for you this week.
April 12 is Autism and Child Abuse Awareness Day; please allow your child to wear blue. On April 17, Early Dismissal, we will release at 1:00 pm. Our Spring Carnival is on April 19 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Enjoy games, face painting, food trucks, and more. Be on the lookout for your child's progress report on April 22. As always, please remember you must park in the staff parking lot and walk your child over in the morning. Refraining from blocking the parking lot ensures smooth access for parents to reach their destinations in the morning and provides your child's safety. Likewise, an adult must sign students in late after 8:00 am, and early check-out ends at 2:30 pm.
As you can see, we only have a short time until the 23-24 school year ends, and we still have a lot to cover; that said, please try to get your child to school on time and refrain from checking them out early if possible. Students miss valuable instructions when they are consistently late or leave early. Again, welcome back; as always, thank you for being a partner in your child's education. Have a fantastic evening.

Good evening, Wahoos,
Report cards will go home tomorrow; likewise, second-grade parents, you should find the CogAT assessment results in your child's folder. If you plan to order a Yearbook, it is due by March 29, 2024; orders are accepted online only. Our Spring Break is coming up March 29-April 5. We hope you have a wonderful time with your family and friends. We are excited to have our Spring Carnival on April 19, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm. Please send the form and money for prepaid wristbands. We will have food trucks, games, music, and more. We hope to see all of our families. Lastly, this week, we have an off-campus PBIS celebration. This celebration rewards students who have displayed positive behavior for the 3rd nine weeks of school: no major and no minor office referral. Permission slips have been sent home for students who can attend. Parents will not be allowed to attend this celebration; it is a closed event. From the WAVE staff and I, we hope you have a spectacular spring break. We will see our student's bright faces and smiles on April 8, all energized to finish the year off strong. As always, thank you for being a partner in your child's education, and have a great evening.

Good evening, Wahoos,
Report cards will go home on March 25; please review your child's folder nightly. Flyers went home last week to pre-order wristbands. We will have food trucks, games, music, and more. We hope to see all of our families. Lastly, parents, please refrain from using the bus line to drop your child off in the morning; this causes our bus drivers to pick up their middle school students late, resulting in students missing instructional time. Likewise, please walk your child across the crossway rather than allowing them to walk independently. This act is a tremendous safety issue as our students are too short to be seen over the hood of a bus. The staff would be devastated to have a student injured due to an adult action. I understand that we all run late at times and have other places we need to be; however, if this continues, we will only allow parents to use the carline in the morning for drop-off. I hope we do not have to take these measures. However, our ultimate priority is the safety of our students. I hope you have a wonderful evening; thank you for your partnership in your child's education.
