Picture retake day is tomorrow morning for any student that did not have their picture taken in October.

Good evening! If you have not picked up your Candy man items, please pick them up tomorrow from the front office. You can pick them up between 8:00 and 2:30 then from 3:30 to 4:00.

We still have several CandyMan items that have not been picked up. All items must be picked up tomorrow. The hours for Wednesday are 12:00-6:00. Between 12:00-2:00 you must stop by the office. After 2:00 you can park in the staff parking lot and come to the multi purpose room. The side door will be opened. The doors will close at 6:00 pm.

Pickup times for the candy man fundraiser is today between 7:00-4:00.

CandyMan items have arrived. You can pick up your products today from 2:00-4:00 and on Tuesday from 7:00-4:00 in the Multi-Purpose Room. We ask that all orders be picked up by Tuesday afternoon.

Fall Pictures can now be viewed online. Follow the instructions below from Lifetouch. Parents should go to: https://my.photoday.com/s/LTBW/120791 Click on the Fall Photos event, and then enter the information for their student (first name, last name, student ID number). Once they enter the information, it will direct them into the gallery to view, favorite images, and purchase if they wish.

Tech Fees will be paid online this year. Don't forget there is a $20 tech fee each year, so if you haven't paid a previous fee it is still on your child's account. An email has been sent to all student accounts as well as all parents who have their email in Infinite Campus. Reminder that tomorrow is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 1:00. No school Friday - Teacher work day.

10/13/2024 Good evening, parents and guardians. This is Mrs. Kelley, the Assistant Principal of Winstead Elementary, with this week's WAVE message. Please remember that students are not allowed to eat or drink outside. If your child needs to finish breakfast, please park and allow them to eat before entering the building. Thank you for your support with the Candyman fundraiser. It has ended, and we appreciate all the sales. Details about the student celebration will be shared soon. If you need to change your child's mode of transportation, please send a note in their folder or notify their teacher through the Rooms app. Calls to the front office during busy check-out times can make it difficult to reach teachers. Starting Monday, any transportation changes must be made by 1:00 PM if calling the office. On October 16th, we will stand against bullying, and we encourage students to wear orange to show their support. The end of the grading period is approaching on October 24th, and report cards will be sent home on November 1st. Please ensure your child arrives at school by 8:00 AM. Instruction starts promptly at 8:00, and students who arrive late miss valuable lessons. If your child arrives after 8:00, they will be marked tardy, and you will need to sign them in. We ask for your partnership in ensuring students arrive on time and stay for the full school day from 8:00 to 3:00 so they don't miss important learning. We appreciate your patience as we continue to refine the car line process. To ensure student safety and streamline dismissal, please use the name tags provided. If you are in the far lane, place the name tag in the passenger window, and if you are in the closest lane, place it in the driver’s side window. If you do not have a name tag, you will be asked to pull aside and come into the building to sign out your child. Please remember to bring proper identification. For those picking up at the end of the carpool line, you will need to come into the office to sign out your child and show identification or the orange card. Remember, your name must be listed on the contact sheet. For safety reasons, please do not call for your child to come to the car; an adult will escort students.
